Some people are not going to be feeling the effects of the credit crunch this Christmas, the results of a survey have found.
Research conducted by Fairinvestment.co.uk discovered that despite the financial downturn, money is not going to be an issue for 28 per cent of respondents.
Another 14 per cent admitted that they have already purchased their presents and other items in preparation for the festive period.
However, it was not good news for everyone as a further 14 per cent said they did not know how they were going to fund Christmas this year, suggesting some have been harder hit by the credit crunch than others.
Rachel Stiles, a spokesperson for Fairinvestment.co.uk, said: "Christmas can be a drain on the finances but it seems that money is not an issue for more than a quarter of people."
Research by LV= found that more than four in ten children expect to receive fewer presents this year because they are aware that the credit crunch may affect their parents' Christmas spending.
