An annual Bike Safe Event is being organised by the Metropolitan police to help reduce the number of accidents involving motorcycles on UK roads.
The event will be held at the Metropolitan Police Training School, Hendon on June 20th and 21st and is being supported by the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCIA).
As well as providing a range of information for bikers, the organisers are also hoping to attract families and children to enjoy a whole host of entertainment over the weekend.
"This event is a must for motorcycling enthusiasts and promises opportunities for riders to learn about the latest developments and gain some new biking skills," said chief inspector Dave McLaren from the Met Police Traffic Unit.
Karen Cooke of the MCIA added that it will also provide an ideal opportunity for bikers to learn about their biking limits with guidance from experts.
Last month, bike insurance provider Norwich Union issued safety advice to less-experienced bikers who only ride during the summer months.
