Brits could be thinking about getting cheap travel insurance this week as many are planning to go on holiday over the May Bank Holiday.
It has been estimated by London Gatwick Airport that around 325,000 passengers will be passing through its terminals this weekend.
Most of them have decided to stay fairly close to home it seems, as European destinations have proven to be the most popular.
Malaga took the top spot with Dublin being the second most preferred location among travellers.
However, some people may be willing to fork out a little more for travel insurance and venture further afar as Orlando came in as the third most popular destination and was also the top long-haul holiday.
Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, Gatwick Airport saw one million passengers use its service, with Geneva being the preferred location at the time.
