Volkswagen van drivers will be pleased that the auto company has approved a new repairer in Warwickshire.
It is hoped that the new Listers centre in Stratford-upon-Avon will offer an alternative to the current arrangement that means van drivers have to travel to Worcester or Coventry to have their vehicle serviced.
By having their vans serviced at a regular interval, many van insurance customers could reduce their chances of being involved in an accident and having to pay higher premiums as a result.
The repairer is equipped with the latest range of equipment including a new ramp that can accommodate vans up to five tonnes.
Duncan Sands, head of operations at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, commented: "The appointment of another authorised repairer is good news both for our customers and the local economy in Stratford-upon-Avon."
Last week, plans to hold a key van show were announced. It is expected that the first Commercial Vehicle Operator Show will be hosted at Birmingham's NEC in April 2010.
