Now 'may be a good time to get home insurance in Liverpool'

Now could be a good time to take out a home insurance policy and consider buying a property in Liverpool.

According to Logic Estate Agents, homes in the city are cheap and mortgage rates have dropped which means the property market in the area is beginning to recover.

There are also opportunities for those looking to enter the rental market as well as people wanting to get their feet on the first rung of the property ladder, the firm continues.

Andy Ferguson, co-founder of Logic Estate Agents, said: "If you've got properties on at the right price, yes it will sell, there are buyers there.

"There's pent up demand from buyers who have been wanting to buy for a while and haven't been able to."

In the opinion of HBF, the main priority in the housing market is getting mortgage providers to start lending again.
