A survey published by RIAS indicates that almost a quarter (23 per cent) of people over the age of 50 are more concerned about being broken into than they were 12 months ago.
Commenting on the study, Janet Connor, managing director of RIAS, states: "It is concerning that one in four over-50s are anxious about the threat of being burgled."
