Ford's new SportVan could be ideal for van insurance customers who like to be noticed.

The new model, powered by a 140PS TDCi Duratorq engine, boasts blue bonnet racing stripes, 18-inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust pipes and spoilers. With just 80 expected to be produced, the limited edition van could appeal to many drivers.

Ford of Britain's commercial vehicles director, Steve Kimber, said: "The first Performance Blue limited edition Transit SportVan has been an enormous success, with more than 1,000 sold in 18 months.

"Transit SportVan is all about style and individuality and hits a sweet spot with many of our customers."

The inside of the van has also been built to a high quality with velour trim, air conditioning, a six-disc CD-player, cruise control, power windows, power and heated mirrors, leather steering wheel as well as tinted glass.

Van maker Volkswagen recently announced a number of new finance options on its range of vans in order to tempt van insurance customers to upgrade their current vehicle.
