Study reveals UK's unluckiest house numbers

People living at house number 88 may want to make sure their home insurance is in order, as research shows this is the unluckiest part of the street to live on.

Although many people will go out of their way to avoid living at number 13, AXA warns that other areas of the street may be just as unfortunate.

Those living at number 13 were found to be only half as likely to be targeted by burglars as those residing at number 88.

James Barclay, home insurance underwriting manager, commented: "We suggest that everyone, no matter what number they live at, takes the time to check they're not creating their own bad luck through poor security or bad maintenance around the home."

He added that it may not be bad luck that plagues certain homeowners, but rather a lack of planning and risk assessment.ADNFCR-1789-ID-800579895-ADNFCR
