Many people are finding they have been the victim of car vandals in one area of Church Gresley.
The Burton Mail reports that up to 40 vehicles have been targeted over the past month, with the criminals scratching bodywork, snapping aerials and damaging wiper blades. Local residents believe that youngsters are to blame for the damage and that many cars have been affected on more than one occasion.
A local resident explained that her husband's car has now been targeted twice and the repairs could total around £800.
"I'm so angry. We've talked about moving but I don't see why we should. We've also talked about getting rid of our cars," said the unnamed woman.
"It doesn't matter if your car is new or old. They are doing it to any. You work and you think 'what for'? It's unbelievable. "
Meanwhile, residents in Littlehampton are finding their window wiper blades being targeted by a crow that is intent on destroying them, reports the local Gazette.
