Auto company Vauxhall has claimed that its wide range of aftersales services can help ensure that customers' vehicles remain reliable and roadworthy.
In many cases, van insurance customers could benefit from lower van insurance premiums by ensuring that their vehicle is regularly checked to benefit unexpected large repair bills under Vauxhall's servicing plans.
The company felt that it needed to highlight its range of servicing options following recent research that discovered 50 per cent of large vans on British roads fail their MOT on the first attempt.
Richard Collier, the firm's national commercial vehicle sales manager, commented: "We understand it's a difficult time for many of our customers so we really want to highlight that there are plans available to help with vehicle maintenance and running costs."
van insurance customers with larger vehicles can opt for a three-year or 60,000-mile service plan starting at £39.99 per month.
Meanwhile, a survey from Swinton van insurance has discovered that 80 per cent of drivers would rather pay for repairs that claim on their van insurance policy because they want to protect their no-claims bonus.
