Fleet managers looking for van insurance quotes on new vehicles may be interested in the features available on the newly-recognised Citroen Berlingo.
The van claimed the titles of best new van and best light van at the 2009 Van Fleet World Honours, with navigation and safety features key among its major selling points.
Citroen claims that the Berlingo, with the exception of the 625 L1 X 1.6i, is the first LCV to have Trafficmaster Smartnav and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking as standard - features that could impress those seeking cheaper van insurance.
The Berlingo is available in an 11-model range, with two trim levels, three engines and two vehicle lengths on offer.
"No other light van range available in the UK is able to match the Berlingo's strength in depth - a fact that is reflected by its healthy UK sales," said Robert Handyside, commercial vehicle operations manager at Citroen.
Recently, the Berlingo was named as runner up in the International Van of the Year 2009 awards - finishing behind another Citroen model, the Nemo.
