The Hyundai Group was founded by Chung Ju-yung in 1947 as a construction company. The company grew and expanded into five business groups: Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, Hyundai Group, Hyundai Department Store Group, and Hyundai Development Group.

The division, Hyundai Motor Group, is the worlds seventh largest car maker and began operations in 1967 as part of the Hyundai Group. Both models also come in and dump truck version, models HD 65 and Hd72 dump truck. The medium truck category includes the HD 120 LHD and the HD 120 dump truck. The large truck category only includes one large truck called the cargo truck.

Hyundai provides a number of specialized trucks and vans, specifically in the refrigerated van category. The model numbers of these vans are HD 65 refrigerated van, HD 72 refrigerated van, HD 120 refrigerated van, HD 160 refrigerated van, HD 250 refrigerated van, and the HD 320 refrigerated van.

Hyundai also produces small, medium and large buses. The small buses model includes the county. The medium bus model is the Aero Town model and the large bus models come in several different sizes and models including 21+1 seats, 38+1 seats and 45+1 seats. Hyundai also sells to manufacturers a bare chassis that can be used to build specialized cabs, trucks, buses, and recreational vehicles.
