When you find a deal you are happy with, you can either purchase the policy online or over the phone directly from the insurer. 

When you purchase a policy you compared with us, insurance providers pay a specific rate or commission the sale. This does not impact the cost of your policy in any way. Get the full breakdown of how we work and make money. 

While different price comparison sites operate in a similar way, each will ask their own questions when you get a quote. The variation of questions asked, and the options available as answers can lead to marginal differences in policy prices. 

Likewise, insurance comparison sites can also run their own promotions. This can lead to you seeing prices linked to time limited deals or offers on one site that are not available on another.

Our only rules for creating a password on Quotezone is that it must be between 6-20 characters in length, and must not contain spaces at the beginning or end.

Log into your account and you will see your name at the top right-hand corner of the page. To edit your details on a quote you have already got, click “see all quotes” and “edit quote”.

Otherwise, you can choose to “start a new quote” in the same place, and enter your updated details that will be applied to your new quotes. 

On the login page, click “forgotten your password” beside the login button. You can then send password reset information to your email. If you cannot find this email in your correct inbox, please check your spam and junk folders.

To delete your account, simply get in touch and request this via our contact form. We will get in touch to confirm when this is done.

Quotezone does not currently provide a telephone service. If you have questions about a policy, you can speak directly to insurers over the phone when you get your quotes. If you have more questions for us, you can get in touch via our contact form. 

To buy a policy that appears in your Quotezone quotes results page, simply click “more info” on whichever quote you would like to purchase. 

From here you will be able to review the coverage and exclusions on the policy and complete your purchase with the insurer via their website or over the phone.

When you request a quote from us we will email you a copy. This means you can come back when you are ready to purchase your insurance. 

Otherwise, you can log in and click “see all quotes” from the dropdown beside your name on the top right-hand corner of the webpage.

Simply find the insurance product you need from our menu at the top of the page and choose “get quotes”. Alternatively, you can sign in and click “start a new quote” on the dropdown in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to list every possible job title, but we have compiled an extensive list to choose from. You can search for other terms that accurately describe your work. However, you must ensure you inform the insurance provider of your actual occupation before buying the policy.

Our system looks up cars registered throughout the UK, so double-check that you have entered your registration details correctly. If the registration still cannot be found, then you can manually enter your vehicle’s make and model. Please bear in mind that some insurance providers will need to know your registration plate before you can purchase a car insurance policy.

Generally, a quote will only take 5-10 minutes if you are comparing with us for the first time. After this, we can automatically populate your information into the fields based on your previous quotes. This saves you time and means you can run renewed quotes in a matter of seconds.

Typically most insurance providers will only provide quotes up to one month in advance. This is due to changing costs and pricing of insurance policies.

Comparing insurance quotes through Quotezone.co.uk does not usually affect your credit score. Most insurers only carry out a soft credit check when you compare quotes, which won’t impact your credit rating or be visible to lenders. If you decide to buy a policy and choose to pay monthly, your insurer may then carry out a hard credit check as part of setting up a credit agreement.

Your previous insurance provider should give the details of your no-claims bonus with your annual renewal letter or after you cancel a policy. This document can be used as proof of no claims. If your previous insurance provider has not sent this to you then please get in contact with them and request it.

On our results page, you will see a “more info” button beside each quote. This gives you a brief overview of what is included and excluded on the policy, and what add-ons are available.

Additionally, you can use the free Motor Insurance Database (MID) tool from the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) to check your insurance details using your vehicle registration number. Keeping up with repayments, reducing existing debt, and avoiding multiple applications in a short period can help improve your chances over time.

Your eligibility percentage shows how likely you are to be accepted for a particular credit card based on the information available and the lender’s criteria. A higher percentage means a greater likelihood of acceptance, but unless we specifically tell you otherwise, it does not guarantee that your application will be approved.

Different lenders use different eligibility criteria. These can include factors such as your credit history, income, existing borrowing and other information available to the lender. This means you may be eligible for some cards but not others.

No. Your eligibility percentage is an indication of your likelihood of acceptance and does not normally guarantee approval. If you decide to apply, the lender will make the final decision and may carry out further checks, including a hard credit search.

No. Checking your eligibility involves a soft credit search carried out by Experian and/or, where applicable, a lender. A soft search may appear on your credit report for you to see, but it is not visible to other lenders and does not affect your credit score. If you go on to apply for a credit card, the lender may carry out a hard credit search, which will be recorded on your credit report.

A 0% promotional offer will usually apply for a specified period. When that period ends, any remaining balance will normally become subject to the card’s applicable standard interest rate. You should check the particular card’s terms, including the length of the promotional period, any fees and the rate that will apply afterwards.

If you still have a balance when a promotional period is coming to an end, you may wish to review the options available to you. If considering another balance transfer card, remember that eligibility is not guaranteed and a balance transfer fee may apply. 

We compare a range of credit cards from the lenders and providers on our panel, but we do not compare every credit card available in the UK. This means other products may be available elsewhere.

A representative APR is an APR at or below which the provider reasonably expects credit to be provided under at least 51% of the credit agreements entered into as a result of the promotion. The APR you are offered may be different depending on your individual circumstances.

Yes. There is no fixed limit on the number of credit cards you can hold, although whether you are accepted will depend on the lender’s criteria and your circumstances. Making several credit applications within a short period can result in multiple hard searches on your credit report and may affect your credit score and how lenders assess future applications.

We do not calculate the eligibility percentage ourselves. We securely provide relevant information you enter to Experian and/or, where applicable, lenders on our panel. They use this information, together with other information available to them, to assess your likelihood of being accepted for particular cards. We then display the eligibility result they return to us.

You’ll be taken to the lender’s website to continue your application. In some cases, information you have already provided to us may be securely pre-populated into the lender’s application form. The lender is responsible for the application process and may carry out further checks, including a hard credit search.

No. We are a credit broker, not a lender. We help you compare credit cards and show eligibility information where available. If you decide to apply, you apply directly with the lender and the lender makes the final decision.

We take the security of your personal information seriously and use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it. Your information may be shared with Experian, lenders and other relevant parties where necessary to provide the comparison and eligibility service, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Other lenders cannot see the soft search recorded on your credit report when your eligibility is checked, and the soft search does not affect your credit score. However, where a lender carries out its own eligibility check directly, that lender will of course know that it has carried out the check.

Each lender sets its own product terms and lending criteria. The APR, credit limit and other terms you are offered may therefore depend on the particular card and your individual circumstances.
