Superb service

Tried the others several times and some offering gimicky freebys that most people will never use. Tried Quotezone, they offered straight forward price comparisons, one of which I am now using.

As you’re considering your Renault Modus on finance options, you may have questions about the type of finance for this make and model of car. Here we answer some common questions people ask about the Renault Modus and associated car finance options.

Is the Renault Modus a good car?

We trawled through some internet review sites and noted that, overall, this car gets pretty decent reviews, with AA readers giving it a total 4/5 over 19 reviews. A major plus point is that it is economical to run. One downside is that maintenance could be expensive. When buying a used car, we always recommend doing lots of research, using a trusted dealership and thoroughly inspecting the car to look for clues about how well it’s been looked after.

When did they stop making Renault Modus?

The French car company Renault stopped production of the Renault Modus in December 2012. This is partly to do with moving away from the MPV market over to the SUV market which has become more popular.

What engine is in the Renault Modus?

2005-2008 Renault Modus models came in a variety of engine sizes. Petrol versions had four options ranging from 1.2L to 1.6L and Diesel engines had five options also ranging from 1.2L o 1.6L. Later versions, which were produced up until 2012 started with an entry-level engine of 1.2L with 75BHP. In early 2007 a much nippier version of this engine was introduced which has 100bhp but the same 48mpg economy figure. Reviews of most of the engine sizes, even the larger ones have focused on the fairly impressive fuel economy of these cars.
