Toyota Proace Van Insurance

Toyota, Japan’s largest car company (and the world’s second largest after GM) produces the brand names Toyota, Scion, and Lexus. Additionally, they own a large stake of Daihatsu, and a small stake in Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI). In addition to owning a large share of the Japanese car market, it operates as a multinational corporation, with a large slice of the American and European markets.

The Toyota Motor Corporation started in 1933, although it was in 1934 that the company produced its first Type A Engine which in turn was an essential part of the Model A1 car and the G1 truck, both of which rolled off the line in 1935. The A1s sequel, the AA happened in 1936.

Besides producing high quality cars and trucks, the Toyota Group is also in the textile business and its products are available the world over.

Possibly as well known for its vans and trucks as for its cars, as it developed military trucks for use in the Pacific War, Toyota started producing cars in 1947 (the Model SA). Since then, the company has grown at almost an exponential rate with a solid presence in the World Rally Championship (the Celica and Corolla models), and NASCARs Craftsman Truck Series (the Toyota Tundra truck).

Today, Toyota is famous for having assembly plants all over the world, including ones in the USA, Japan, Canada, and a variety of Asian, European, and South/Central American countries. The advent of cleaner-burning vehicles brought us the Prius based on a Hybrid engine, and a modified version of its RAV4 which runs on a hydrogen fuel cell. Toyotas hybrids are much-praised for being affordable as well as environmentally conscious.

Toyota is traded on the Tokyo Stock exchange, and the NYSE. Over the years, Toyota has produced a huge number of vehicles in the car, van, and truck categories for sale all over the world. Toyota currently sells the AYGO, Yaris, Corolla,Verso, Avensis,| Celica, MR2, Previa, Prius, RAV4, Land Cruiser, Amazon, Hilux, Hiace, Dyna .
