Pizza Insurance has launched in the UK in partnership with leading price comparison site Quotezone, bringing a new reward-led approach to car insurance.

The launch marks Pizza’s first major distribution partnership and a key milestone as the business begins trading and building its customer base nationwide.

At the heart of the proposition is Pizza’s ‘Slice Back’ model – rewarding drivers who go a full year without a fault claim with a cash payment. The approach is designed to incentivise safer driving while giving something back to customers who don’t claim.

Founded by Colin Sadler, Marc Meeking and Sam Baker, Pizza Insurance introduces a distinctive, digitally-led brand into the UK private motor market, focused on clear communication, customer engagement and tangible rewards.

As a new entrant, Pizza Insurance focuses on serving non-standard and higher-premium drivers who may not always receive competitive or innovative propositions elsewhere.

Colin Sadler, Co-founder of Pizza Insurance, said: “We’re launching Pizza to bring something genuinely different to the market. Car insurance is often seen as a grudge purchase – and for customers who don’t claim, there’s traditionally very little recognition of that.

“‘Slice Back’ is a simple idea: if you drive well, you should see some of that value returned. It’s designed to encourage better driving behaviour, supporting improved claims outcomes for insurers as well as rewarding customers.

“Launching with Quotezone gives us immediate access to a broad audience and allows us to scale quickly while continuing to build out our proposition and partnerships.”

Greg Wilson, Founder and CEO of Quotezone, said: “It’s great to see Pizza Insurance launch with Quotezone, bringing an innovative rewards-led proposition to the market.

“As insurance prices across the UK continue to stabilise, customers are looking for ways to differentiate between providers.

“Pizza Insurance offers an interesting concept, promoting safer driving with cashback rewards for a year without at-fault claims. As drivers continue to struggle under inflating household bills, these added value options that actively aim to generate cashback or reduce premium costs are highly sought after.

“As the Government knuckles down on road safety measures in a bid to reduce accidents by two-thirds by 2035,* insurers will need to review how they can support these efforts, help protect their drivers and reward progress.

“If incidents on the road are significantly reduced, the hope is that premium prices will inevitably follow suit – making insurance costs more affordable for all drivers.”

Now with over 20 years’ experience helping customers find savings, Quotezone.co.uk is one of the leading price comparison sites in the UK, with approximately 4 million customers every year and one of the widest product ranges available in the industry.
