The Freight Rover Sherpa was manufactured from 1978 until 1989 in a variety of models and configurations. Customers could purchase the Freight Rover Sherpa with various engine sizes in both petrol and diesel configurations. Petrol engines were 1.7 litres and 2.0 litres. Diesel engines were 1.8 and 2.o litre engines. The Freight Rover Sherpa model numbers that were sold were the 200 city model manufactured from 1978 until 1989. The Freight Rover Sherpa 230 was manufactured from 1978 until 1989. The Freight Rover Sherpa 250 was manufactured from 1978 until 1989.The Freight Rover Sherpa 255 and 285 were also manufactured from 1982 until 1989. The last Freight Rover Sherpa 350 model also ended production in 1989.
