Who is KGM motor insurance?
KGM Policies at Lloyd’s was established in 1957 and is a motor insurance specialist offering a wide range of products. The syndicate began offering underwriting on January 1st, 1957, taking its name from the initials of the founding underwriter, Kenneth Gordon McNeil. The original offices were in Lloyd’s Avenue, in the City of London. Steady expansion resulted in four moves, the last in 1986 to their offices in South Woodford, on the northeast outskirts of London, at the southern end of Epping Forest.
Who underwrites KGM insurance?
KGM Motor Polices are one of the few motor syndicates remaining whose underwriting is still heavily supported by traditional names such as Zurich. The syndicate has a proven track record of providing profitable returns for its capital providers, assuring continued financial backing and a very high level of security for their policyholders.
All business is completed with approved brokers, delivering core products of private car, motorcycle, light commercial vehicle, specialist vehicles and fleet insurance.
The brokers depend entirely upon our insurance products. Their web site is designed for KGM brokers and private customers. You will need a user ID and password to fully take advantage of their web site. Their target market includes the following insurance covers: Comprehensive and Third Party Fire & Theft covers; Mature drivers with a proven history; Named drivers; Low to middle grouped vehicles; Low to average vehicle values; Lady drivers; Sedentary occupations and Drivers with limited annual mileage.

My broker suggested I switch to KGM for car insurance. My broker dealt with renewals over the years, so I never had to deal with KGM directly. The one time I needed KGM; they were there for me. I was shocked by the reviews on here which caused me to worry that my broker’s judgement was misguided. KGM fulfilled my insurance policy and agreed a settlement within 3 weeks.
