Cheap Vanden Plas Insurance
Vanden Plas car insurance
The name Vanden Plas came from a company of coachbuilders who built special and up-market automobiles. The marquee originated in Belgium in 1870.
In 1946 Vanden Plas, the Austin Motor Company purchased the company, which is now part of MG Rover. The North American rights to the name were sold and now reside with the Jaguar division of Ford. Both Ford and the Austin Motor company use the name to distinguish up-market variants of models they produce.
The most luxurious Jaguar XJ models carry either the Vanden Plas or Daimler nameplates. Of the Jaguar saloons, the most attractive is the XJ (1968-present), which is still the definitive Jaguar car for many.
